GRAPHIC PRINT: intro
Module: Graphics
We were given a brief of three different titles: floral, geometric and illustrative. For each title we had to come up with a concept and design a number of different prints to be used in a final collection of ten outfits.
For floral, i looked at the artist Gerhard Richter and photographer Bill Jacobson for my inspirations and my concept was based around the meaning of life. I did my own paintings, seen above, and developed them into layered prints.
For geometric, i looked at divinity, the meaning of divinity and represented this through kaleidoscopes.
For illustrative, i researched renaissance art and tried to turn them into modern, more abstract pieces of art so that they were completely changed and something completely unique.
